Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the services provided by CBM Carlsbad Masonry, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

Services Provided

CBM Carlsbad Masonry provides professional masonry services including but not limited to brick repair, chimney services, tuckpointing, retaining walls, patio installation, and related construction work. All services are subject to availability and our assessment of project feasibility.

Estimates and Pricing

We provide free on-site consultations and estimates for most projects. All estimates are valid for 30 days from the date provided. Final pricing may vary if project scope changes or unforeseen conditions are discovered during work. We will always communicate any pricing changes before proceeding with additional work.

Payment Terms

Payment terms will be outlined in your project contract. We typically require a deposit before starting work, with the balance due upon project completion. We accept various payment methods including cash, check, and major credit cards. Late payments may be subject to additional fees as specified in your contract.

Cancellations and Changes

If you need to cancel or reschedule your project, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made after work has begun may be subject to charges for materials purchased and work completed. Changes to project scope must be agreed upon in writing and may result in adjusted pricing and timelines.

Warranties and Guarantees

We stand behind our work with a comprehensive warranty on both labor and materials. Specific warranty terms will be detailed in your project contract. Our warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials but does not cover damage caused by natural disasters, improper maintenance, or modifications made by others.

Property Access and Safety

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work area. We will take appropriate measures to protect your property during construction, but you are responsible for moving valuable or fragile items from the work area. Our team follows all safety regulations and you agree to allow us to implement necessary safety measures.

Permits and Inspections

When required, we will obtain necessary permits for your project. You are responsible for ensuring that any homeowner association approvals are secured before work begins. All work will be completed in accordance with local building codes and is subject to inspection by local authorities.

Limitation of Liability

While we carry comprehensive insurance and take every precaution, our liability is limited to the contract value of the project. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Any claims must be made in writing within 30 days of project completion.

Dispute Resolution

If any disputes arise regarding our services, we encourage open communication to resolve issues amicably. If a resolution cannot be reached through discussion, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of the State of California.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
